  1. Nice, Mike. Not profound, but it says important things.

  3. Seems like an important film raising some critical issues for kids in Palo Alto, Bethesda and other well off suburbs. Waiting for Superman and The Lottery raise a more important set of issues for the kids living across the highway in E Palo Alto.

Curious about what Carl would replace capitalism with?

  4. Funny. Carl is waiting to replace capitalism with "something better" while Van awaits Superman.

  5. Van,
You clearly did not view the film. The pressure affects all walks of life--both sides of the tracks. The pressure is great everywhere.
    Watch and then re-review.

  6. The film shows the impact of the unhealthy environment we've created in all of our schools. Why do we make judgments on which set of issues are more important - the victims are ALL children and it's their future we are risking.
