Montgomery County, Maryland also sends administrators to the The Broad Superintendent's School and also talks up The Broad Prize constantly. Superintendent Jerry Weast has convinced elected Board of Education members to become rubber stamps to his decision making. Board of Education members don't even set the Operating or Capital budgets anymore. Those budgets are set in private meetings, off camera, unannounced by staff and union officials selected by the Superintendent.
