Inside Chicago's school "Renaissance"

  1. Friday March 26th, at 11:00 am, Waukegan High School Students Walked out of school Friday to protest teacher cuts. Amazingly, before the protest, the administration found out about the walk out and announced over the loudspeaker that "students will be arrested for participating in the protest, and police have been called". Then after letting the students outside anyway, they announced again they will be arrested unless they return in 5 minutes. Then, they announced a lockdown is in progress and said if you want to support your teachers, walk in the scheduled parade for the basketball team at 3:30. Then at 3:10, fearing that students will call their bluff and protest, the administration canceled the parade.
