I'm interviewed at the protest

I was at the rally against school closings at Lakeview High School yesterday. Before the march to the mayor's house, I was interviewed by Chicago Tonight's Elizabeth Brackett.

  1. Well done. I see later in the show that Noemi Donoso is now completely married to the 30% gain in meets and exceeds at two schools, and that this marginal figure is the basis for the entire disruptive endeavor. If a traditional school tried to trumpet gains in "meets and exceeds," it would be immediately pooh-poohed as nothing by the administration.

By the way, Carol Marine does a good job, but at one point she tries to draw a parallel between the paid protestors on the Board's side, and protestors that are joined by other groups on the communities' side, as if those two things were somehow equal in "the brinksmanship."
