'We can't get fooled again...'

We can only be thankful that Judd Gregg has quit and won’t be in charge of implanting a stimulus plan that he and the Limbaugh Party oppose. And, can you imagine a neocon commerce secretary being in charge of the next census? Farewell to black and Latino voting power.

I hope that the Obama team draws the appropriate lesson from the Gregg experience, about trying to work in harmony with the neocons. Every time Obama has reached his hand across the aisle, the Limbaugh Party bites his fingers. Bush2 summed up the lesson this way when he was president (remember?).

There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, it's probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. It fool me. We can't get fooled again."

  1. I'm pretty sure GW said that during his first term, and then proved himself wrong by fooling us again. Or at the very least, rigging the votes in Ohio.
