Randolph Stone
My apologies to Randolph Stone, director of the University of Chicago's Criminal and Juvenile Justice Project Clinic and a former public defender, for referring to him as "an insider."

I'm told by a friend, who knows better than I do, that, "PDs are outsiders and he's a great advocate for those charged, convicted and incarcerated."

Having said that, I hope Stone will resign from the mayor's discredited Task Force and help form a truly independent People's Task Force.

Thanks, B.D.
