Closing small Jersey schools
"I commute 1 1/2 hours one way every day, just to live in Fieldon where our son will one day be able to attend a small school," Braundmeier said.

"Not once have we said we were closing the schools," board member Angie Cory said. "It's very difficult for us to see you in tears or hear your children have come home crying because they heard their school was going to be closed.
