Victory!

They said they wouldn't give back the plant until they won what was coming to them. They meant it. With solid support from their union, the UE, a determined and vocal coalition of outside supporters from other unions and activist groups, and politicians, including President-elect Obama, the Republic workers forced the hand of the company and Bank of America officials and forged a $1.75 million agreement, ending their six-day factory takeover.
