Arne Duncan and the DOE ought to get an earful on NCLB testing madness when he holds these
announced public meetings across the country. The meetings will include experts on assessment as well as the general public. Question is, are these meetings just for show as a prelude for more of the same, come the re-authorization of NCLB? Or will we finally get some authentic assessments, besides standardized tests, in our public schools?
