I don't know what you did for lunch today, but I got to dine on salad and rubber chicken at the Ritz and see my friend Tim Black honored as one of 7 Chicagoans of the Year by Chicago Magazine. That was pretty cool. But even cooler (sorry Tim) was seeing another honoree, Mavis Staples who had us on our feet singing Will the Circle Be Unbroken and I'll take you there. I even got to take a picture with her. Check it out.

Tim, Mavis, Chicagoans of the Year
I don't know what you did for lunch today, but I got to dine on salad and rubber chicken at the Ritz and see my friend Tim Black honored as one of 7 Chicagoans of the Year by Chicago Magazine.
